Welcome to The Point Cultural District in the South End of New Bedford, where you will experience West Beach, Hazelwood Park, East Beach, Fort Taber Park, Harborwalk, Victory Park, Covewalk and the Blue Lane Bike and Walking Path, as well as a diverse array of restaurants, businesses, services and events.
Here you will find wicked cool places and events, such as Reggae on West Beach, a family friendly event throughout the summer, The Fort Taber – Fort Rodman Military Museum, a tribute to the city’s veterans and service members, Kilburn Mill, home to artists, entrepreneurs, small businesses, unique retailers, and community organizations,Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U) dedicated to providing inspiring experiences for the youth of New Bedford, and Immigrants Assistance Center, empowering immigrants for citizenship and workforce readiness.
