The Island Foundation‘s grant priorities fall within four categories: Environment, New Bedford, Alternative Education, and Global. In New Bedford, the Island Foundation works with organizations that promote progressive social change and combat discrimination in all its forms, supporting youth programs, community development, arts and culture, and basic needs. To be invited to apply, the first step is to call or write to the Foundation to determine eligibility.
